El Shaddai extends our gratitude to all supporters and partners for your continued commitment and support of our mission to serve children, youth, and families.
El Shaddai exists to empower teenage girls with education, so that they have the tools for self-empowerment. To promote gender equality, safety, and empowerment for girls in Goa, our program aims to foster safe, inclusive urban environments and the Young Women’s Entrepreneurship to enhance economic opportunities and leadership among teenagers.
The initiative helped in building awareness among boys and girls about safer urban spaces and facilitating open questions and dialogue, fostering trust and understanding among youths, strengthening the youth and community ambassadors’ capacity to challenge harmful norms, especially around menstruation.
This quarter, both projects have made substantial progress in empowering teenage girls and boys through education, capacity building, community engagement, and economic support. The initiatives have successfully increased awareness, challenged harmful norms, and fostered leadership among youth, contributing to safer, more inclusive, and economically vibrant communities in Goa. Continued efforts will focus on scaling these achievements and deepening community impact.
Your generosity made all of this possible. In the coming year, we will have 10 students attending university. As the year draws to a close, we invite you to consider making an additional year-end gift to support these remarkable young people and those who will follow in their footsteps.
