Covid 19 mobile Vaccination Outreach Programme
By Romeo | Team Leader
We would like to thank all our supporters and donors. The project has not yet been able to raise enough funds to raise the amount of resources we had hoped to raise. Nonetheless we are engaging local leaders and other stakeholders in continuing to raise awareness of Covid-19 while we wait for more to arrive in our account. We encourage all our supporters to keep supporting this noble cause through our GlobalGiving page and we extend our gratitude to the GlobalGiving for establishing such a valuable space that allows us to interact with people who support our cause. Thank you once again.

Covid19 Vaccine Mobile Clinic
By Romeo Chingezi | Project Leader
Thank you to all our donors for supporting this project. We are currently waiting for funds to arrive in our account so that we can implement activities. Please continue supporting us by donating to the project and recommending it to friends and colleagues. We are using the limited resources currently available to us to keep interacting with communities and monitor their needs as they evolve so that we can continue to update our workplans to be more responsive to community needs. Our teams continue to leverage on social media to decentralize information, educate the community and appeal for more support from other potential donors.

Update on the Covid-19 Vaccination Mobile Clinic Project
By Romeo Chingezi | Project Leader
We are hugely grateful to you all our donors for your sacrifice towards this project, it is your support that makes it possible for us to continue reaching marginalized and vulnerable people with the necessary help they need. While we wait for more funds to arrive in our account, our dedicated team of volunteers is closely following the Covid-19 vaccination rates and they are reaching out to grassroots communities with education about the efficacy of the vaccine via SMS to counter vaccine misinformation. This digital health education exercise has so far reached 200 people in rural and remote areas of Mutoko rural district of Zimbabwe (our target location) where there is very limited access to primary health care. Demand is being generated and now there is need to ensure accessibility of the vaccine for all vulnerable populations. Mutoko district has set a target to vaccinate at least 60% of its residents to achieve herd immunity, currently the district is at 49%, this highlights the need for more vaccination outreach activities to ensure that everyone has some level of protection against future variants.
We cannot overemphasize the importance of this project and we are very grateful for the opportunity and platform provided to us by GlobalGiving to mobilize the much needed resources. We will continue to monitor developments on the ground and supply you with updates as well as success stories arising from this project.
