Logan first traveled to Hungary as a study abroad student, and fell in love with the culture. Logan decided to stay and work abroad. She lived in Budapest for five years, she met a man and fell in love. After moving in together, Logan’s partner began to drink incessantly. He would become angry and on several occassions he raped her. He would go to any length to intimidate her, and threatened to kill her if she left him.
Fearful, Logan realized she must leave Hungary for her safety. She contacted AODVC, AODVC case mangers worked with Logan to quickly get her home to the USA. Logan is living with her parents. She still loves Hungary and hopes to go back one day, but for now, she is happy to be home.
Your generous donations enable us to provide danger to safety relocations to American victims in need just like Logan!
Thank you for your support!
