Update on the progress report on

By James Rosita Nkeiruka | Project Leader

We bring to you, a follow up on the last report of our humanitarian assistance. We are always happy to share the good news! We are excited to announce that, as part of our GlobalGiving project, which aims to "Help fight Japa trend among youths in Nigeria now".

Contributions like yours are continuing to make a difference. They are supporting Sam Onyemaechi humanitarian Foundation's response efforts and delivering crucial help and hope to people in need amid hostilities, constant stress, and difficult conditions away from home.

Nigerian youths desire prosperity. the high cost of living and low standard of living, weak economy, social distress, underemployment, poverty, hunger and mounting insecurity are the causes of ‘japa wave’ of the Nigerian youths. Mass migration has lots of debilitating effects on the economy and on various aspects of a country’s life. Nigeria’s large population should be a blessing. The contest of strength is not only a contest of military and economic power but also a contest of human power and morale.

We are very thankful to you for enabling us to provide essential materials to the community we serve. We cannot but thank you enough.

During the course of our workshop and seminars with the youths, we have discovered that many factors increase the risk of developing or triggering youth depression, including: Having issues that negatively impact self-esteem, such as obesity, peer problems, long-term bullying or academic problems. Having been the victim or witness of violence, such as physical or sexual abuse.

We initiated a body term ("Gesah") Great Entrepreneurial Skills Actualization Hub and ("Rucomdevin scheme") Rural community development initiative scheme"to fight for the rights of youths and indigent families in all spheres of life . Seminars and workshops are organized twice in every month to speak on these projects: "Talent Discovery" and youth and the era of digitalization. We constituted ten personnel who organized workshops and seminars to look into the aforementioned project topics that concern youth empowerment and development.

As earlier mentioned in our last report, the major problems we face in our project management is occasioned by poor funding, inadequate equipment to execute the projects, absence of technical expertise, economic and political instability and environmental. All these contribute to delaying our performance in our humanitarian services.

This is a good opportunity to invest in the lives of our youths by offering them counselling opportunities and giving them vocational skills. Your donation is a trickle down effect to better the lives of youths.

Essentially, your donation helps release vulnerable young adults and adults from the grip of devastating poverty, who cannot afford to acquire skills to better their lives and position themselves for a brighter future.

We are grateful for your incredible support during these difficult times! Thank you for standing with us and helping us prove that every life matters!

We haven't carried out any project on youth empowerment. We scheduled to carry out vocational and innovative skills between September and October this year depending the availability of resources in our hand.

We want to, in a special way thank you immensely for your kindness and generosity to our project. Thanks for your support which has helped us impact many lives in our community. We do not take your donations for granted at all, it is gratefully appreciated.

Once again, thank you for your generous donation to our cause. We invite you to join us on this year's July bonus day. We therefore urge you to share our project with your network of family and friends to impact the lives of these youths. Thank you for your donation and getting your network to do the same. Without your fraternal solidarity we wouldn't have marked this event. You made it what it is today. Thanks for being there for us. We appreciate.

With Kindest regards,

Samonyemaechi Humanitarian
