A Digital Compass for Students

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

As technology becomes a larger part of daily life, students need more than access to digital tools. They need the awareness to use them wisely.

Social media can shape how young people think, learn, communicate, compare themselves to others, and understand the world around them. For students who are still building their confidence and identity, this digital space can either become a source of distraction and pressure, or a space for learning, inspiration, connection, and growth.

This is why digital awareness matters.

Through Masarat’s student activities track, students are guided to think more deeply about their relationship with social media. They explore how digital platforms can affect their emotions, study habits, social relationships, and sense of self. Instead of only warning them about misuse, the sessions help them ask better questions: How do I use these tools? What do I follow? How does this content affect me? And how can I turn technology into something that supports my future?

With interactive tools and guided discussion, students begin to see the digital world with more clarity. They learn that responsible use is not about avoiding technology, but about using it with purpose, balance, and awareness.

Your support helps make this possible.

Because of your generosity, Masarat can help students build not only academic knowledge, but also the life skills they need to navigate a rapidly changing world.

Thank you for helping students become more aware, responsible, and prepared to use the tools of their time to build a better future.
