How can your generosity restore balance to life?

Have you ever thought that your giving could be the reason a heart that has been suffering for years finds healing? How would it feel to know that your support helped restore hope to a life shattered by circumstances?

(s.h), an orphan who lost her father years ago, spent many years trapped in a cycle of deep pain and sorrow. This pain was not just the absence of a father, but the loss of security and love, making her feel as though her life was constantly in danger.

Sara needed someone to help her face this pain and bring peace to her heart. Today, you are the one here to support her!

Thanks to your generosity and support, along with the help of a psychologist, a carefully designed treatment plan was put in place to help her overcome these painful emotions. Every step of the plan had a profound impact on her life:

Increased self-awareness: (s.h) discovered her inner strength, hidden beneath the pain, and gained the ability to face her challenges with courage.
Enhanced independence: (s.h) learned how to rely on herself when making decisions and regained confidence in her abilities.
Relaxation techniques: Through deep breathing exercises, (s.h) was able to manage feelings of anxiety and stress, allowing her to live with inner peace.
Cognitive restructuring: (s.h) learned how to challenge negative thoughts tied to fear, helping her adopt a more positive outlook on life.

On this International Human Rights Day, we pause to ask: what does it truly mean for a person to have the right to life? Is it merely the right to exist? Or is it the right to hope, to a future, to an education that opens all the doors that were once closed?

Today, on this special day, you have provided over 50,000 students, since the beginning of our journey, with this right. You have given them the opportunity to be more than just alive—they have the chance to live with hope, learning, and dignity.

Who are these students whose dignity you have helped preserve through your support?

They are the orphans who struggle to survive in a harsh world, without a family. They face unimaginable challenges, but today they are writing stories of hope and success thanks to education.

They are the refugees who fled war-torn regions, leaving behind everything they knew—homes and families. These children, who once dreamed of merely surviving, are now standing in classrooms, learning, and planning for a bright future.

They are those with special needs who have faced decades of marginalization and exclusion. Today, thanks to their education, they are proving their strength and reclaiming their place in society.

And they are the girls who have been deprived of their right to education in many communities. Today, it is you who have given them hope for a future filled with opportunities.

Can you feel the joy of these students as they see that someone believes in them, that someone has made them experience the education they had always dreamed of? Each one of these stories is a testament to your strength and a proof that the support you offer does not go in vain. It is the opportunity that could change the course of a child’s life, the key that opens the horizons of life and empowers them to change.

We believe that knowledge is a right for every person, and that every individual has the capacity for change. Our values, embodied in every step these students take, are the same values that helped build this bridge of hope. Together, we are working to build a world based on justice and equality, a world where opportunities are available to all.

Now, how does it feel to know that there are thousands of untold stories that wouldn't exist without you? Stories of weakness turned into strength, despair transformed into hope, death turned into life. You made all of this possible. You gave them education, you gave them hope, you gave them life.
