Mentoring Session on Marketing Strategies & Techniques

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

The first speaker discussing marketing techniques
The first speaker discussing marketing techniques

Thanks in part to your support, a mentoring session was held on marketing strategies and techniques. The first speaker spoke about some of the techniques she used to have a successful business and the second speaker covered marketing strategies.

The first speaker told them the marketing techniques she applies to have great sales, including making the customers aware of your products or services, engaging them, and helping them make the buying decision. Furthermore, she said that a marketing plan should be part of your business plan for it helps in creating and maintaining demand, relevance, reputation, competition, etc.

The second speaker, a marketing student and also a marketer, told them about the importance of being a marketer and also the good attitude a marketer should have. She said that good marketers are strategic with their time and resources, especially since there are so many different channels, including internet marketing, to use and forms of content to produce. As marketers they are leaders, driving business growth while focusing on data and creativity, balancing multiple channels, and working in a fast-paced environment.

The beneficiaries were excited to learn about marketing techniques and strategies and were all very thankful for the mentoring session and expressed their gratitude for the mentoring session.

YOU are truly making a difference for girls' education including mentoring with every dollar you donate.  If you are not yet a recurring donor and would like to make a greater impact you can set up a recurring donation here.
