One of the challenges girls face in Sierra Leone is the threat of Malaria. Thanks in part to your ongoing support, mosquito nets are distributed to girls throughout the year. Isha, a secondary school student from Hope Academy, expresses her gratitude in this video for her new bed net saying
Hello, my name is Isha from Northern Village and a pupil of the Hope Academy for Girls. I want to say a very big thank you to Develop Africa donors for giving us these mosquito nets. It will help us prevent malaria and also mosquito bites. Thank you again.
Long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) aka mosquito nets are a proven way to prevent mosquitoes from biting students at night. By providing girls like Isha, with mosquito nets, you are helping them stay healthy and in school where they can continue their education.
Our recurring donors are making a continuous impact and we are truly grateful for the ongoing support. If you are not yet a recurring donor, we warmly invite you to consider setting up a recurring donation. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way for girls' education.
Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting girls' education. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
