Thank You for Empowering Girls Through Education in 2025!

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Thank you!
Thank you!

As 2025 comes to a close, we want to pause and say thank you. Because of your generosity and belief in girls’ education, hundreds of girls across Sierra Leone have been able to stay in school, gain confidence, and continue working toward brighter, more independent futures.

Throughout this year, your support has helped girls overcome barriers that too often stand in the way of education—poverty, lack of school supplies, and unaffordable tuition. Because of you, girls have remained in classrooms, accessed learning materials, and dared to dream of careers as doctors, teachers, engineers, and leaders in their communities.

Teachers and families continue to share how life-changing this support has been. When a girl is educated, the impact reaches far beyond one student—it strengthens families, uplifts communities, and creates lasting change for generations to come.

There are still a few hours left to make an impact in 2025.  If you’ve been considering a year-end gift, now is the moment. Your donation today can help ensure that more girls begin 2026 equipped with the education, tools, and support they need to succeed.

As we look ahead, we do so with hope—because of partners like you who believe that every girl deserves the chance to learn, lead, and thrive.

From all of us at Develop Africa, we wish you a new year filled with health, happiness, and prosperity. Thank you for standing with girls and for making 2025 a year of opportunity and transformation.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team
