I hope this finds you well.
Firstly, as you may have noticed, we have, since the last communication, changed the name of our organisation from Educate SA Foundation to First Love Childrens Foundation. The change was made mainly to help align ourselves with our primary focus which is children and not necessarily education but all that concerns children and their rights. We remain committed to the cause of children living in less privileged communities.
Secondly, the last couple of months have seen some changes taking place at the Hope Children's Home situated in the sprawling Kawangware slum in Nairobi continues to provide accommodation and care for 50 orphaned and abandoned children. These changes have ushered improvements both at the local administration level and the funding of the institution. Going forward, the institution will be funded via a religious organisation based in Seattle, Washington State, USA. As a result of these changes we are no longer required to fundraise for the institution via GlobalGiving and will therefore withdraw the project from the GlobalGiving platform.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude once again for your support and hope that you may continue to support us through one or the other of our worthy causes located in South Africa or India.

Thank you for being the pillar the children can lean on. We are deeply grateful for your love and continued support!
