Two Bo Students Thankful for School Support

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Mariama

Two students in Bo, Steven & Mariama, have received educational support thanks in part to your support covering their tuition fees, textbooks, and school supplies for this school year (2023-24).

Steven is in Junior Secondary school (JSS). His favorite subject is Physical Health, and he dreams of becoming an accountant.  Mariama is also in Junior Secondary School (JSS), and her favorite subject is Mathematics. Mariama wants to become a nurse.

They express their appreciation in this video saying

Hello, my name is Steven. I'm very happy for your support.

Hello, my name is Mariama. I'm so thankful to Develop Africa donors.

Investing in the education of students like Steven & Mariama not only empowers them but also serves as a catalyst for breaking the cycle of poverty within their communities.

If you haven't already done so, we warmly invite you to consider signing up for a recurring donation. Your continued support will ensure that we can sustain our efforts in nurturing the future leaders of Sierra Leone.

We also encourage you to share our project with your contacts and inspire them to join us in supporting the education of young individuals in need. By spreading the word, more deserving students, like Steven & Mariama, can be empowered with education.

If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to reach out to us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

Warmest regards,

Amy and the Develop Africa team
