As we get ready to commemorate World Malaria Day 2025 on April 25th, we’re reminded that a healthy child is a learning child—and your generosity is helping make that a reality for hundreds of students in Sierra Leone.
Thanks to your continued support, future leaders, like Samuel, are receiving not only school supplies and educational assistance but also life-saving mosquito nets. These nets form a vital barrier, helping prevent malaria infections for up to two years.
The impact is clear: children who sleep safely under a mosquito net are healthier and better positioned to reach their full potential. Families have expressed deep gratitude for this support, which is not only safeguarding their children’s lives but also helping them stay on track with their education.
As the World Health Organization reminds us, “Malaria is a preventable and treatable disease,” yet it continues to disproportionately affect children under five across Africa. With your support, we are working to change that reality—one net, one child, one family at a time.
Thank you for being a part of this vital mission. Together, we are building a healthier, more educated future.
With gratitude,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
