High Scores & Big Dreams: Lamin's Path to Becoming a Doctor

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Lamin's report card is in and he has passed his first year of Senior Secondary School (SSS1) with high scores. He loves to read and his favorite subjects are Mathematics and English.

Lamin recently received support for the 2024-25 school year including school fees, books, and supplies thanks to your support.  He just began his second year of senior secondary school (SSS2).  He dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up to save lives and help the people in his community.

We are proud of Lamin and can’t wait to see where his journey takes him. Your support is genuinely helping students, like Lamin, get their education in Sierra Leone.

We deeply appreciate your continued support!  If you have any questions or need more information, please don't hesitate to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

Warm regards,

Amy and the Develop Africa Team
