Educate the Future Leaders of Sierra Leone

We are so thankful for your continued support for future leaders' education, which includes having the ability to study at night.  Lack of electricity is a challenge for many communities across Sierra Leone and school students living in those communities find it very challenging to read their notes and do their assignments at night.  Thanks to your support students, like Aminata & Emmanuel, are receiving solar-powered lights to help them study at night.

Aminata was very thankful for her new solar light that will help her with her school work.  She is in Junior Secondary School and hopes to become a lawyer when she grows up.   Emmanuel was also thankful for the solar light that will help him with his school work. Emmanuel is also in Junior Secondary School and his favorite subjects are mathematics and science and hopes to become a doctor so that he can help struggling families in his community.

Hello, my name is Mishael, a beneficiary of Develop Africa. I want to say a very big thank you for the tuition fees you have provided me with in order to further my education. Happy New Year!

College tuition must be paid in full for the semester (sometimes the entire year) before students can start classes. The students also do not have access to student loans or financial aid. There are very few and limited scholarships.  This makes attending college nearly impossible for students without generous donors, like YOU.

We greatly appreciate your support for future leaders in Sierra Leone, like Mishael.  We invite you to keep helping change more future leaders’ lives. Making a monthly donation is the most effective way to help students get their education, but every dollar donated makes a difference.
