KUSKA INICIA UNA NUEVA ETAPA | KUSKA BEGINS A NEW CHAPTER
Con mucha alegría compartimos una noticia importante para nuestra comunidad: la promotoría de Kuska School ha sido transferida a Corazón del Bosque, una nueva asociación conformada por algunas familias de la escuela, que continuará el camino educativo con dedicación, cuidado y compromiso.
Esta transferencia simbólica se realizó en una ceremonia especialmente emotiva el 7 de setiembre, durante el reciente Kuska Raymi, un encuentro que guardaremos con mucho cariño por lo que significó para todas y todos.
La decisión fue tomada por el directorio de Kuska tras un proceso de análisis profundo y responsable, guiado por el amor y la conciencia, con la mirada puesta en lo mejor para la comunidad y su futuro.
A partir de ahora, Kuska inicia una etapa independiente y concentrará su trabajo en Casa Kuska, nuestra biblioteca comunitaria y espacio cultural: un lugar abierto y accesible para la población de Ollantaytambo. Aunque no seremos socios, seguiremos en un espíritu de colaboración y articulación, buscando siempre el bienestar de las familias y del territorio.
Queremos expresar un agradecimiento profundo a todas las personas que, durante 13 años, sostuvieron y acompañaron a la escuela con tiempo, confianza y corazón. Les invitamos a seguir cerca y a caminar junto a nosotros en esta nueva etapa, desde Casa Kuska.

1.- Kuska begins a new chapter
With great joy, we share important news with our community: Kuska is carrying out the transfer of the school’s management and administration to Corazón del Bosque, a newly formed families’ association that will lead the school in this next stage
This symbolic transfer took place in an especially moving ceremony on September 7, during the recent Kuska Raymi—a gathering we will hold close for what it meant to all of us.
The decision was made by Kuska’s board after a deep and responsible review process, guided by love and awareness, always keeping in mind what is best for the community and its future.
From now on, Kuska enters an independent stage and will focus its work on Casa Kuska, our community library and cultural space: an open and accessible place for the people of Ollantaytambo. Although we will not be partners, we will continue in a spirit of collaboration and coordination, always seeking the well-being of families and the territory.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who, for 13 years, sustained and supported the school with time, trust, and heart. We invite you to stay close and to walk with us in this new chapter, from Casa Kuska.

Despedimos esta etapa encendiendo nuestra luz interior, reconociendo sus dones y pidiendo un deseo para el nuevo camino que comenzarán.
Graduation Ceremony at Kuska School: A Moment to Remember
We shared a deeply meaningful ceremony to honor the journey our graduates have taken and the path they’ve shaped along the way. We closed this chapter by “lighting our inner light,” recognizing each student’s gifts, and offering a wish for the new journey they are about to begin.

Terminamos el año con una gran noticia: Vamos Expeditions se suma como socio fundador de Casa Kuska, junto a Inca Rail, Chuncho y Las Qolqas, reafirmando su compromiso con la educación y la cultura en Ollantaytambo. Casa Kuska recién inicia su viaje, con la convicción de seguir aportando, junto a aliados y comunidad, al desarrollo educativo y cultural de Ollantaytambo.
We finished the year with great news: Vamos Expeditions has joined as a founding partner of Casa Kuska, alongside Inca Rail, Chuncho, and Las Qolqas. This partnership reaffirms their commitment to education and culture in Ollantaytambo. As Casa Kuska begins its journey, we remain dedicated to working with our allies and the community to foster local educational and cultural development.

4.- Para el cierre del años 2025, nuestro Club de Lectura organizó divertidos bingos inspirados en los personajes de las obras leídas durante el año, donde niñas y niños participaron con entusiasmo y se llevaron lindos premios.
To close out the year 2025, our Reading Club organized fun bingo games inspired by the characters from the books we read throughout the year, where children participated enthusiastically and took home lovely prizes.
