Coaching Entrepreneurial Women

By Paulina Toro | Project Leader

During the last couple of month´s we have focused on developing and delivering our most recent version of our renewed food entrepreneurial skill/set building an intensive on-site course as part of our partnership with Comfama - a non-profit whose mission as a Family Compensation Fund is to improve employees and their families´ quality of life by administering both monetary and in/kind subsidies including informal continued education programs-. We have recruited and trained two new highly experienced professors in the fields of e-marketing and pricing for the food industry.  We have also focused on exploring and building relationships with other possible partner organizations to further expand both our reach and impact.

As part of this process two cohorts of woman food entrepreneurs have successfully finalized our recently launched intensive on-site Cocinando Sueños course. Women have launched and or renovated their products. They have also managed to increase their sales, thanks to their recently launched e-marketing campaigns. All in all, entrepreneurs have reported to feel more empowered and to have been able to take important steps to launch and grow their food ventures.

We continue to be very grateful for all the support of our team, our donors, partners, sponsors and volunteers. Thanks to this support we have been able to continue offering our courses to entrepreneurial Colombian women in need in the food industry, increasing their income, improving their quality of life and that of their families.
