This month of March we recognize WOMEN around the world for that tireless struggle and the contradictory situation that we face every day, for the simple fact of being born as women.
We recognize those women, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, of our children who life has treated them hard, who out of necessity turn to prostitution and abandon their children, who never had the opportunity to study, who were “sold” to get married. or to work, we know that in many cases, children are abandoned because these are situations that they are repeating because they were also abandoned.
We are convinced that EDUCATION for a woman is the most worthy way to change her future and that of her family.
In many countries around the world, such as COLOMBIA, a large percentage of women assume a great disadvantage from childhood, both in education, in employment, in remuneration, and in job offers, leading to conditions of poverty from generation to generation, deficient health care, having to bear the burden of an entire family (children, nephews, grandchildren) due to abandonment by parents and husbands. It is generally concluded that women bear the weight of the effects of the ever-widening gap between rich and poor, with the real danger that the situation will worsen, which is why it is urgent to take special measures to promote equality of opportunities.
