Education to empower girls and women

Juana is participating in the educational program "COOKING DREAMS" where we empower, train and accompany displaced women, unemployed or in low-paid jobs, through training to undertake their dreams, and impact their families and communities.

It is a reality, 20 women like Juana, make up the first group that is receiving education for work, each will have the opportunity to create their own business around the kitchen, the project will provide education for empowerment, technical, practical knowledge and creative in cooking.

Promoting equal access to education between men and women affects the development and positive growth of a country in terms of its society's wealth and well-being, empowering women contributes exponentially to improving the living conditions of its children, themselves and society as a whole. That is what we intend with this project.

Diana is happy to have the opportunity to train and dream of a better future for herself and her children.

Diana, 25 years old, already has 3 small children, the children's father left and no longer lives with them. From a very young age, Diana had to abandon her studies to work and earn an income, but it is increasingly difficult to find a job, without studying.

Now through the training that Diana can acquire with this project focused on training women head of family, who have not been able to access education, or formal employment, hopes to strengthen as a woman, learn techniques, develop soft skills to start their business. meals and learn to manage it, in order to increase your income and improve living conditions for your family.

Diana's biggest dream is to give her children better study conditions than what she had.

Some of the expected results for Diana and many more women, with this project are:

Develop in teenagers, mothers and other related women, skills so they can face the inequality, violence and discrimination they suffer in their environments and can make responsible decisions.

To ensure that the participants improve their quality of life, that of their families and communities, realizing their potential, increasing their income and achieving economic independence.

Increase the incomes of the participating women and their families, so that three years after having graduated from the program they have a better income than the current ones.

Achieve that around 30% of the women of the program develop gastronomic ventures.

Empower the participants so that they develop their strengths, grow in self-confidence and overcome the fear of failure.

Train women while they work, by staggered cohorts, through a personalized methodology of learning to undertake doing, supported by coaching - to develop their potential.
