"EVERY STEP IS IMPORTANT IN EDUCATION"

Today, with the contribution of many people and institutions, we are very pleased to have some young people in higher education or courses that will lead them to perform better in their working and productive lives. The following are the Institutions and / or processes involving young people:

  • 2 young people participating actively in the Program, Young Visionaries of Manpower, acquiring skills to perform in the work environment
  • 1 young student studying Audiovisual Communication at the Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid
  • 1 young student studying Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid (3rd semester)
  • 1 young student studying Psychology at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (4th semester)
  • 2 girls studying Business Administration at CEIPA (4th semester)
  • 2 young people studying Technique in Operation of Events at CENSA (2nd semester)
  • 1 young person carried out a Pre-occupational Training Process at the Maestro Guillermo Vélez Vélez Educational Institution
  • 1 student in the Nursing Auxiliary Program practice.
  • 1 student in the practice of the Operator in Machines of Confección in Sportswear and Interior.
  • 1 student in process of Admission to the National University.

As for opportunities for financial support to continue higher studies, the alliance with the Gandhi Foundation and the Fraternidad Medellín Foundation is maintained, and a student is currently receiving support for support.

The Padrino Plan of Autonomous Life is active, which has been linked in the last months, 4 people and 1 Foundation, generating the possibility of supporting the admission of adolescents and young people to technical and professional training.

A graduate is in the process of being selected at the Sueños y Huellas del Tomorrow Corporation, an organization that supports training and vocational guidance processes specifically for women.

There have been three meetings of the Youth Group, addressing issues of socialization of advances and tips for the presentation of interviews

The team of Professionals of Nutresa and the University of Antioquia socialize the results of the research "Knowing to be, to do, to have and to be", thanks to which inputs are received that will serve as a basis to make adjustments to the Preparation Program for the Autonomous Life and other processes of intervention with our children.

Progress is being made in a process of articulation with the Pontifical Bolivarian University, with the involvement of volunteers from the United States, Canada and Japan to strengthen English in children and adolescents.
Linking graduates to the world of work:

  • • 1 graduated as a Plastic Artist working as a teacher in Colombo Switzerland Presence
  • • 1 graduate graduated as Drafting Technician of Architecture and in process of training in Technology as Architectural Draftsman in the College
  • • 1 graduate graduated as a Technician in Production of Footwear working as a production operator in the company Cueros Vélez
  • • 1 graduate graduated as a Librarian linked to the National University and in the process of training in the Master in Digital Marketing, virtual mode
  • • 1 graduated graduate as a Nursing Assistant working at the Las Vegas Clinic
  • • 1 graduate graduated as a Cabinet Technician working at Concielco S.A.S.


Support for business ideas of graduates:

A fund of (COP) $ 2,500,000 (U $ 830) was created, money that was given to a graduate to consolidate a business idea in the clothing sector (design of sports shirts).
