El Nino Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Initiative

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative supporting poor families affected by extreme weather events. The situation of extreme weather events happening is now more frequent with typhoons becoming more stronger compared to before. Sanitation situation in the rural areas is very poor and this time we continue to provide low-cost latrines for poor families which they will have to pay on a socialized scheme. Thanks also to supporters that continue to provide us with the resources in order to continue doing this important initiative. During this period we are able to provide a total of 22 latrines for poor families and we hope to expand the number in the coming months. Again thank you very much for your kindness and generosity.

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative supporting the needs of poor families affected by the El Nino. Climate change is real and we do not know what the future holds. However we try our best to be of assistance during this time and focus on mitigating climate change impacts on our work. This time we focus our attention to providing food for children and farming inputs for their parents. We were able to assist a total of 34 families using this mode this reporting period.
