Families Still Need Help After the Flood

Dear Donors,

Thank you for remembering families affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.

The floods of August 26 caused serious damage across Rasuwa, Nuwakot and nearby communities. Homes were damaged, roads and bridges were affected, and many families were forced away from places they once called home.

For these families, the disaster did not end when the floodwater went down.

They still need food.

They need safe drinking water.

They need somewhere to sleep.

They need medical care.

A family that has lost its home may also have lost cooking utensils, clothing, bedding and other basic household items. Parents now have to care for their children while dealing with the loss of things they worked for over many years.

Around 10,000 households have been identified as needing immediate relief.

Clarion Times Foundation is seeking support to assist 1,500 flood survivors with food, temporary shelter and healthcare. We have also contacted local organisations familiar with the affected communities that can help deliver assistance to families in need.

The road to recovery begins with helping people get through today.

Thank you for standing with families in Nepal during this difficult time.

Please share this project with others who may want to help.

With gratitude,
Adaego Imoh
