Dear Donors and Supporters,
It's been three months since our last update and donations have certainly slowed down as people return to work and put the pandemic behind them but for us the impact is far from over and this project is still as important even though it is not in the daily news!
Did you know that since COVID the number of teens diagnosed with eating disorders has more than doubled? The number of young people diagnosed with mental health has drastically risen around the world. India is still struggling with COVID with a peak of 3824 cases in 24 hours yesterday, this is mainly older people but hospitals in India are still struggling and need help.
Also as a charity we did the best we could and managed to keep every project and community we work with across 85 different projects safe and running. While this was such an amazing achievement for us as we watched many others collapse, as we review our strategy for tackling global issues by 2030 we have been pushed back by an average of 6 years on each project and so support and funding is still an emergency and critical part for us, which also comes at a time as we see cost of living rocket globally meaning people are unable to donate and more people look to us for help.
It certainly is tough but with your support we will never give up until we have no choice, we hope that although as people move on from COVID we can move our support to re-build and tackle this huge gap left on all our projects.
