SHEpreneurs on the Rise!

We have just completed the training of 45 SHEpreneurs using our Street Business School curriculum. The 6 month journey has been very empowering for them and the testimonials are pouring in on how their lives have been transformed. All the eight modules play a significant role in shaping their entrepreneurial journeys but most importantly its the values of teamwork and collaboration that are making the most impact.

Susan is a widow who was struggling to make ends meet for herself and her children. She started a small grocery shop venture and was using the little profits she earned to build her own shop premises and try to expand her business. The small grocery shop was barely viable and Susan was surviving from day to day with the little she earned. She enrolled for the Street Business School training as a desperate last attempt to make things happen and change the trajectory of her life. The business management and financial literacy principles she learnt made her realise that though she has been in business for years, she was making a lot of errors and mistakes in the way she conducted business. She applied the principles of marketing and promotions and effective customer care for retention and she has seen a significant increase in her sales. The profit margins are now comfortable and Susan has been able to expand her bsuiness to include clothes. She is currently purchasing bricks to complete the construction of her grocery shop and she intends to expand further to include meat and wholesale of groceries. The Street Business School training helped Susan gained strength and renewed her hope for a better future for herself and her children.

Faith is a 42-year-old mother of one. She joined the Street Business School training in March 2025. At that time, she was running a small broiler chicken business and dreamed of building a decent home for herself and her son. They were living in an old round hut with a thatched roof. Through the Street Business School training, Faith gained valuable knowledge, especially in market research, which helped her improve her business strategies. Today, she continues to run her broiler chicken business and has already purchased bricks to begin constructing her house. Faith's journey is a clear example of how determination combined with the right business skills, can transform lives and bring long-held dreams closer to reality.
