Empowering and supporting vulnerable parents

Dear supporters,

Thanks to your contributions in 2020, TIPA team was able to provide support on parenting skills to more than 50 underpriviledged parents through online and face-to face discussions. At the same time, a group of 6 parents were trained and followed-up to act as community coordinators to conduct art activities with children in the community.

This year, TIPA consolidates these on-field supportive and empowering actions by offering group and individual psychological support to 50 parents, as well as a condensed training programme to 10 parents to develop skills in the planning and conduction of art activities with children. The idea is to have a pool of trained parents so that TIPA can reach out to more vulnerable children instead of relying only on our small team.

Since January 2021, TIPA has also resumed art activities with 222 children in 2 schools, as well as the training of NGO educators to help them develop the know-how in fostering lifeskills through art activities, based on a participative approach with children.

TIPA team wishes you all a fulfilling year ahead and thanks you for your support in the challenging year 2020.
