How can Latifa face her 'un-gentle' circumstances
By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

"I want to learn to change my life." These aren't just words; they are the daily fuel for Latifa, an orphaned student who opens her books in a small corner of her tent every day.
Latifa’s journey is far from easy. Between her and her dreams stands a long list of challenges:
-
The Harshness of the Tent: A lack of privacy and protection from the extreme heat of summer or the biting cold of winter.
-
The Struggle for Connectivity: Searching for a weak internet signal as if searching for a lifeline to access her lessons on the Masarat platform.
-
The Absence of Support: Losing her father meant losing her primary emotional and financial anchor, forcing her to become her own pillar of strength.
For Latifa, education is the "only elevator" out of poverty and displacement. At Masarat, we are committed to being the support she lost—providing the tools and the mentorship to ensure she never faces the world alone.
Because of you, her goal—"I want to learn to change my life"—is now a concrete plan rather than a distant dream. You aren't just supporting the "education" of orphaned girls; you are building a "front line of defense" against poverty, ignorance, and exploitation.

Shaimaa reclaims her dreams, thanks to you
By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

After losing her father, Shaimaa didn’t just face the pain of orphanhood; she suddenly found herself haunted by a shadow threatening her childhood: "Early Marriage." Under harsh social pressures, she was nearly forced to abandon her education forever, trading her dreams for responsibilities far beyond her years.
But Shaimaa refused to be a victim of circumstance. She braved the storms alone, clinging to her dream of education despite every obstacle. Today, we are proud to share: Shaimaa is back! She has returned to her notebooks and pens through the Masarat platform.
Thanks to our flexible digital learning system, Shaimaa has reclaimed her stolen right to learn. She isn't just studying lessons; she is rebuilding her future and preparing to chart a bright path that matches her ambition, just like any other child her age who deserves the right to choose their own destiny.
By contributing today, you are giving Shaimaa and others like her the chance to say "No" to a forced fate and "Yes" to a future they choose for themselves. Your donation provides the safe environment that protects orphaned girls from the risks of dropping out and early marriage.

When the Pen is a Shield and Knowledge is Survival
By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

In displacement and refugee settings, orphaned girls are often the most vulnerable. For them, the absence of education doesn’t just mean illiteracy; it opens the door to early marriage, forced domestic labor, and the loss of agency over their own lives.
At "Masarat," we believe that educating an orphaned girl is an "act of resistance" against marginalization. For these girls, education is not just about textbooks; it is a fortress protecting them from exploitation and a window to a world of independence and dignity. When you educate a girl, you are not just saving an individual; you are building an educated family and a society shielded from the cycle of poverty.
Through our digital platform, we reach girls in their tents and displacement areas, providing a safe learning environment that respects their privacy and nurtures their ambition. Keeping a girl in school is the only guarantee that the tragedy of being an orphan does not turn into a permanent loss of future potential.
Every book an orphaned girl opens today is a door closed in the face of exploitation. Your donation to girls' education is an investment in human dignity and the future of Syria.
