Project Report | Oct 31, 2017
Bolivia, Chile & Argentina

I spent my last few months in beautiful Bolivia, Chile and Argentina and it was as amazing as the first part of my trip! Bolivia was short but had the opportunity to spend valuable time with some of our partner organizations and really experience first-hand the depth of their work. Some of my favorite visits where to Mano a Mano Bolivia who received funds to build a school in Tunas Pampa, a very remote community near Cochabamba, where I met kids that walk around 2-3 hours to attend school daily. Before this school was built their old school was built of adobe and it was very dark and small. No proper chairs, desks or learning materials. Teachers had to move to these communities for yearly contracts and they had nowhere to live. Thanks to Mano a Mano Boliva, multiple schools in the area have been remodeled, teachers have on site small apartments and spacious and clean classrooms, and communties have new recreational areas and medical centers.

I traveled to Chile from Bolivia though Uyuni and slowly made my way to Santiago where we had 2 great workshops with two great organizations- Fundación Colunga and Comunidad Organizaciones Solidarias that have an extensive NGO network in Chile. After a few visits to our partner orgs I traveled to Argentina where I had the opportunity to visit Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Santa Fe and Rosario and visit our partners. I´m posting some of the pictures I can actually share with you guys as some of them I´m unable to due to children and constituent privacy.

Here are a few of the projects I visited:
