Graduation event generation 5
Graduation event generation 5

This period 76 children of generation 5 graduated from the Mayama educational model, who for four years participated in the Mayama educational training model, through different programs that trained them in the fundamental tools to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, through the practice of assertive communication strategies, learning appropriate management of emotions and the use of appropriate knowledge and skills for conflict resolution.  These children improved their emotional adjustment by obtaining a score of 2.56 in their evaluation, which is below 3, and which evidences that there is an adequate emotional development in terms of anxiety management, explosiveness, impulse control, self-esteem, among others. In addition, the children showed sustained progress in their maturational development during their participation in the program.

On the other hand, the 54 families of these children advanced in their parental competencies to create safe spaces for the development and exercise of children's rights, and made progress in their family functioning in areas such as authority, affection, communication, among others. Also at the graduation event, the families presented the initiatives they were working on from July 2021 to April 2022 as a solution to the problem of inequity they live in their environments.

What's next for the future? The continuation of the training process of 104 children of generation 6 together with their 68 families, who are in their second year of training in the Mayama Educational Model and the entry of 140 children of generation 7 together with their 100 families to the Mayama Educational Model.
