The political situation in the country is rather unstable, the capital of Kinshasa is always at the center of tensions and clashes due to the presidential election that is affecting the nation.
These disorders also affected Sambwa and neighboring villages, and, also due to the rise in cement prices to all building materials, there have been further slowdowns in the construction of the nuns' building and intended to accommodate the girls.
However, thanks to the donations received, baths, drafts, grooves, electrical and hydraulic piping were built and has been made the local for the batteries of the 'photovoltaic system, but, in order to avoid likely thefts, photovoltaic panels will only be installed when the sisters begin to live in the house. Except for new unforeseen events, we hope to be able to open the building and to accommodate the girls next year.
