English Creative Writing Competition in Bulgaria

Dear supporters of the Bulgarian national Creative Writing Competition,

We will start soon the preparations for the 4^th National Creative Writing Competition. The success of the project this year encouraged us to start planning earlier. The registration for the 4^th national competition will happen in December and the actual competition day when the students will write their essays will be in February.  The regional and national judging will be in March and the Award ceremony in April. We will organize teacher trainings on creative writing between November and February in order to help the teachers feel more confident in preparing better the students for the competition.  

This week we presented the National Creative Writing Competition in front of the new group of 28 English Teaching Assistants who are young Americans coming to Bulgaria through a program of the Fulbright commission. They will teach at Language High Schools and they all expressed a real interest to be involved in the competition. They will be a great asset in the preparation process.

Again, we will partner with the Ministry of Education and Science, US Embassy, Fulbright commission and the American University in Bulgaria.  We really hope that we could rely on your support in our efforts to raise funding for the 4^th National Creative Writing Competition . We will keep you informed on our next steps.
