The number of girls receiving computer training at FAWE for the 2013/2014 academic year reached a record high of 84 pupils; from 56 attending the previous year.
Students learned computer operating systems, were familiarized about computer components and input/output devices, and trained how to perform word processing software functions including creating documents.
Wifi access was provided through the Ministry of Education which enabled the girls to learn how to research school topics online to help improve their academic performance.
We also received the provision of an electric meter and power facility which allowed the reduction of noise that was caused by using a generator.
We are thankful and proud of the progress the school and girls have made. With YOUR support, FAWE is able to continue to improve the lives of girls by helping them to become computer literate and self-sufficient.
We look forward to an even better year when schools reopen from Ebola closing,
