Huge Success - Together We Have Trained Hundreds of Children and Youths

By Sylvester Renner | Project Leader

Youths taking notes - computer training

Dear project supporters,

Even in this time of crisis, we have so much to be thankful for.

This GlobalGiving project was launched in 2010. Thankfully since then we together have helped to provide computer training to hundreds of children and youths. This has included the following:

  • Providing computer training at the FAWE school lab since 2011
  • Providing training at the computer lab in Sierra Leone
  • Covering the fees of classes at other institutions
  • Providing computer training in special sessions with partner organizations like AIDSL

We could not have done this without your generosity and kindness.

The focus of this project - computer training - falls under the larger umbrella of education. Since we already have another project focused on education, after a review, we have decided to combine the projects and streamline our efforts. This will help us to be more efficient. With this in mind, we will be phasing out this project shortly.

Are we going to continue providing computer training?
Yes, there is a dire need for this. We will enthusiastically continue to do so.

We warmly welcome your on-going support of computer training at this education project

When we phase this out, your recurring donations will now go towards the above-linked project.

We wish to say a special "Thank You" again to all of you who are making recurring donations.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to email us at globalgiving@developafrica.org

With much gratitude,
Sylvester and the Develop Africa Team
