New students in a computer class
New students in a computer class

Dear project supporters,

Your ongoing support is currently helping 30 students get the computer training they need.  As technology becomes a mainstay in the private and public sectors, most decent paying jobs require proficiency in computers and thanks to your ongoing support the computer lab is continuing to help more youths become computer proficient.

The computer lab operates in two shifts; morning and afternoon 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm – 5:15 pm. Classes include- Introduction to Computer, Parts of a Computer, Input and Outputs Devices, Basic mouse and Keyboard Techniques, Typing Master, MS Word and MS Excel. Computer training is an effective long-term investment that helps to eradicate poverty by enhancing education, broadening options and opening the door to new opportunities. You can see the full album of photos of current computer classes and students

Thank you so much for helping to provide these students with the skills needed to have a brighter future.

With deep appreciation,

Amy & the Develop Africa Team
