Dear project supporters,
Your generosity and kindness continue to empower and enable us.
It was a great privilege to have our young leaders visit their peers who are visually impaired at the Bethesda Home for the Blind.
Our leaders checked on their well-being and donated food items. The excitement on their faces tells us of how much love and hope they felt being remembered and supported with food items during this global crisis.
No doubt, COVID-19 can have a significant impact on persons living with disabilities, who are already clamoring for a more inclusive society, if not given due attention.
Our youth mentors and Change Champions didn't lack support either as they also received some support with food items.
After a review during these unprecedented times, we have decided to streamline our fundraising efforts. We have decided to phase out some project listings here on GlobalGiving - particularly the ones that have not been as successful. This will help us to be more efficient and make better use of our time.
With this in mind, we will be phasing out this project shortly.
Should you be interested in supporting another youth or education-related project here on GlobalGiving, we warmly invite you to join us in educating leaders in Sierra Leone.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to email us at globalgiving@developafrica.org.
With much gratitude,
Sylvester and the Develop Africa Team
