Update from Future Nigerian Leader

By Amy M Baty-Herbert | Project Coordinator

Ifeoluwa
Ifeoluwa

Dear Project Supporters,

Your support is continuing to help student, Ifeoluwa, in Nigeria get his education through our partner organization, S.M.I.L.E.   Ifeoluwa is now in his second year of college thanks to your continued support.

He expressed how much it meant to him to receive scholarship funds for his second year saying that his financial anxiety was high before receiving your support because scholarships are not guaranteed.  In his update he said-

Getting an education is not just a fundamental human right, it is pivotal to increasing employment and income opportunities as well as breaking the cycle of poverty.

I am so grateful that  S.M.I.L.E and GlobalGiving donors have come to my aid again and my second-year fees have been paid so that I can study what I am passionate about --  Business Management and Entrepreneurship.

You have truly made a lasting difference in Ifeoluwa’s life.   We encourage you to continue supporting future leaders in Nigeria and ask you to consider starting a monthly recurring donation here to help more students get their education. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

With great appreciation,

Amy & The Develop Africa Team
