We are launching a campaign to establish income-generating businesses for the caregivers of the children in our programs. These individuals demonstrate remarkable dedication to the children in their care, yet many lack access to sustainable economic opportunities.

This initiative serves multiple objectives. First, an economically empowered caregiver reduces long-term dependency on organizational resources, allowing us to allocate more support to direct services for children. Second, these businesses will create informal learning environments where children can observe and develop foundational business skills—financial management, customer relations, and entrepreneurial thinking. Third, we will provide caregivers with training and ongoing mentorship to ensure they have the knowledge and support necessary to succeed.

By investing in caregivers, we create a multiplier effect that benefits both the current generation of children and the stability of their home environments. This approach aligns with our commitment to sustainable, capacity-building solutions rather than temporary interventions.

To survive, this young girl spent her days on the roadside, vendoring cooked yams to strangers. Every coin she earned went toward her school fees, her medical bills, and feeding her younger siblings. She wasn’t just a student; she was the sole provider for her family.

When our team found her, we saw a child carrying the weight of the world on her tiny shoulders. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we intervened immediately.

Today, Rosemary’s life is transformed. We placed her and her siblings with a loving caregiver who ensures they are safe and fed. We now provide regular food supplies and cover their essential needs.

The result? Rosemary is thriving. For the first time, she walks into class without the crushing worry of what her siblings will eat for dinner. She is focused, she is learning, and she is simply allowed to be a child again.
