This project aims to prevent the cycle of intergenerational prostitution and help the most vulnerable affected by the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in red-light areas and slums by focusing on three objectives.

The first objective ensures access to nutrition and free meals in the form of dry ration kits containing rice, lentils, cooking oil, spices, salt, sugar, and tea. The second is ensuring access to education by sponsoring children in schools of various age groups, from preschool to college, and providing community classrooms in red-light areas. The third is ensuring access to hygiene products, such as sanitary pads, masks, soap, and essential medicine, supplied in the dry ration kits. In addition to our three objectives, we provide skill training for women to open their own businesses.

Our program beneficiaries are 27,386 sex trafficking survivors and their families, including children at risk of being trafficked. By providing access to education through education at community classrooms and sponsoring children in schools, we are ensuring the women and children have a community, a safe space, and complete a crucial stepping stone in opening up more opportunities for themselves.

By providing access to nutrition to women and children, we are ensuring they do not die from hunger or turn to dangerous jobs to be fed. Children cannot concentrate on their classes if they are hungry; our community classrooms provide mid-day meals to the students.

Providing access to hygiene products ensures that women and children maintain proper health and hygiene practices to prevent disease and possible death.

Without your continued support, we cannot continue our work to feed, educate, and uplift the last girl. This Thanksgiving, we ask our generous donors for their continued support in breaking the cycle of inter-generational prostitution. Happy Thanksgiving!
