My name is MARIANA , I’m 12 years old, I live in Medellin in the 13th commune, I’m in fifth grade.
My family is composed by: my mom Rocío, my sister Alexandra of 8 years old, and my 16 year old Sebastian. My mom works as a nanny.
I arrived at the Tiempo de Paz Foundation 2 years ago. My interest was in having a space for an adequate use of my free time, in having good companies, where I can feel safe. I was a very shy girl at first, not very sociable and low grades.
During this time at the foundation, they taught me to be more caring, the value of respect above all, to share, to love others, to respect people, knowing we are all different, to know God more and His Word, to be honnest.
At the foundation, I found a space I use to study, but above all, they helped me relate with others, to share, to respect my classmates and to improve on my responsibility to study; they also helped me to have a balanced nutrition.
I want to thank God for the foundation, and for everyone that’s been helping us and my mom.
