Feed the needy children and people

Dear Donor,

The Covid-19 crisis has become a major crisis in the lives of the children and people on streets and slums. Though the situation has not ended, the poverty and hunger crisis is still increasing. During COVID many have become jobless and still struggling to find jobs and get a proper income to feed their families. The main problem is that hungry people are trapped in severe poverty and lack the money to buy food for themselves and their families.

We at El Shaddai serve hot nutritious meals every day to people on streets, slums and railway platforms where most poor people are found. It gives them relief as they don’t have to worry about where their food will come from. Every day people are waiting for the meals to be distributed. For the last three months, El Shaddai has been feeding 39,524 meals to the poor and needy. This act of kindness has impacted many families through the support of donors and sponsors.

Feeding the Poor

Dear Sponsor,

We hope you all are doing well and we bring to you our report on feeding the poor. We are thankful for your kind donations towards our project which has been of tremendous help to many poor people and reach out their needs. As we all know due to COVID many of them lost their job and shortage of money could not fulfill their greed of hunger. Though funds were short, El Shaddai meets the basic needs of the underprivileged and many families.

As we live in diverse society where food clothing and shelter are three major assets of one’s day to day life of survival, there are many who can’t even get a morsel of food in a day or days together. Through the Kind donations and support of sponsors,donors, well-wishers and volunteers, we were able to provide support in distributing food and dry ration kits to marginalized communities.

Our team reaches out to more than 600 children on daily basis, in this three months our team managed to reachout 87,204children and people and helped them with groceriesand home cooked meals distributed in various parts of Goa. The waitlist seems to be never ending. We even reached out to slums and provided the necessary food one can have for the day to overcome their hunger. The people were very happy and pleased as we managed to help them and they could rely on us. Being their reason of smile makes El Shaddai feel very proud and we hope same to reach as many slums children and all the poor families who are facing the scarcity of food.
