Amid Syria’s ongoing crisis, thousands of displaced families face severe challenges in meeting even their basic daily needs, especially food. Many of these families rely entirely on humanitarian aid to survive after losing homes, jobs, and access to livelihoods.
Saed for Relief and Development implemented a food basket distribution project to support the most vulnerable households. Each basket included essential items such as rice, flour, oil, sugar, and pasta, ensuring families had sufficient meals for a reasonable period.
The distribution process was carried out in an organized and transparent manner, targeting the families in greatest need to ensure aid reached those most affected. Hundreds of displaced families benefited from this initiative, expressing deep gratitude, noting that the food baskets allowed them to secure daily meals and eased the financial pressure caused by rising living costs.
Beyond meeting immediate nutritional needs, this project restored dignity and hope among the beneficiaries, reminding them that the international community has not forgotten their plight and that help reaches them even in the most difficult circumstances.
Despite this effort, needs remain immense, and thousands of families continue to require additional support to ensure food security and mitigate the ongoing effects of the crisis. Saed Charity remains committed to expanding its efforts to reach as many affected families as possible.
