Providing alternative education
Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food, education and emergency support for girls. The Coronavirus pandemic has affected much young women with much of their activities curtailed. The cases of depression and hopelessness is high. What worries us the most is that girls are subject to on line sexual predators and the lack of money and resources are contributing factors for some of them to be exploited. This reporting period we launched an informal and alternative education system providing women and girls with tools in order for them to be economically active and useful contributors to society. We were able to provide training on livelihood skills and home economics to 235 girls in this manner. Hoping for your continuing support to us.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Teaching entrepreneurship to women and girls
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing food, education and emergency support for girls. The Coronavirus pandemic has affected us very much here and the lives of poor women and girls are difficult with local incomes and economic activity at the downturn. This reporting period we focused our attention to providing 15 girls with technical training on entrepreneurship with the support of a local government entity mandated to do such. It is good to note that through our local effort, we are able to establish a modest training center where we are able to conduct the training activities. Hoping for your continuing support to this initiative.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Starting village training
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food, education and emergency support for girls. This initiative is very important especially now that the education system is hard-put in implementing standard education modules due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Resorting to what is called blended learning and the use of the internet and computers is not accessible to all especially to those located in interior, remote villages. Towards this, we support alternative education system especially for women and girls by the establishment of a learning center in a remote village. The aim is to provide direct access to learning and training the practical way with focus on agriculture, entrepreneruship, livelihood and home economics. We are starting to recruit women and girls residing in the vicinity of the training center and later on we will expand to neighboring villages here. Before the year ends we aim to train a total of 300 individuals. Hoping for your continuing support and encouragement.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
