Food, Education and Emergency Support for Girls

Dear Friend, 

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food, education and emergency aid to very poor girls here. This reporting period we are happy to announce that a local organization based in Manila is providing us with 75 bags and school supplies which the girls can use for their needs. We are arranging for the supplies to reach our area and then we commence distribution. We will provide photos and report as we implement the distribution of the supplies. This reporting period we implemented a trial regular feeding program involving 32 malnourished girls and using the products of our training farm as food. This comprise vegetables, ducks and pigs and inland fish. We will do this on a regular basis for a period of 3 months in order to ensure the improvement of nutrition of the children.

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support providing food, education and emergency assistance to very poor women and girls. This project is indeed very important and effective in improving the lives of very poor girls and their families. When we visit remote barrios we make it a point to identify indigent girls and know of their situation and explore ways how to support them. Most of them come from broken families or landless and without resources in order to eke out an existence. Our support this reporting period consist of providing food basically rice to them and their families. Rice is staple here and sometimes very difficult for some families to procure. We assisted 22 girls and their families with rice supply good for 1 month and they are very happy about it.
