The last 2 months were very hard on us, the prices for medical treatment increased considerably and we had to take in 22 puppies and 3 adult dogs, out of which one needed an amputation.
The puppies had all sorts of medical problems, from Borealis to frostbites, internal parasites that caused seizures, and external parasites that caused them to scratch to the point of injuring themselves. On top of all this, Miriam, one of our dogs, had to be seen by a dentist because of her very bad teeth despite being young, which was a real financial setback.
Although we promote spaying campaigns, the number of abandoned animals doesn't seem to decrease :(.
