Turning Deserts into Thriving Green Farms

I am delighted to share some uplifting news about the ongoing progress made by CHCS in its journey to transform arid desert lands into flourishing green farms. With limited resources but strong determination, our collaboration with the GlobalGiving Foundation has helped us achieve inspiring results over the past six months. We are proud to announce the successful establishment of eight new green farms in Thar—a region long challenged by drought and poverty.

These farms are much more than patches of cultivated land—they represent hope, growth, and opportunity. They now serve as vital sources of fresh vegetables, livestock fodder, and reliable income for families in need. By growing seasonal crops, these farms not only enhance food availability but also uplift the local economy and improve livelihoods in an otherwise unforgiving environment.
