More Green Farms and drinking water wells in Thar

Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is very grateful to you for your kind support to the project DESERTS to GREEN FARMS
CustomsHealthCareSociety(CHCS)has so far dug more than 1500 manually driven as well as solar-operated water wells in different Goths of Thar. These Water wells have been completed during the last 10 years in the poor and remotest areas of Tharparkar and are providing Fresh, Sweet and Hygienic Water to the thousands of humans as well as animals of Thar on a Daily Basis.
CHCSalsostarted"GreenTharCampaign"in which the deserts of Thar are being cultivated in order to grow vegetables, fruit and fodder for the cattle.Three hundred green Farms over an area of 2000 acres of lands have already been established which are yielding Wheat, Vegetables and Fodder for Cattle. These Farms have partially turned the deserts of Tharin to Lush Green Farms.

CHCS has been gradually pursuing its vision of converting more desert fields into green farms with limited funds it has. In this regard, CHCS, has established 20 more new green farms during the last three months which are not only providing vegetables, and fodder for cattle but are also a source of income for the poor people of Thar as they have been enabled by CHCS to grow seasonal crops in their green farms.
However, CHCS has limited funds to cater to the increased demand of food in the area. It is, therefore, requested that Donors from all over the globe may donate generously so that CHCS may continue improving the socio-economic conditions of the people of Thar by establishing and developing more green farms.

It is kindly intimated that Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is continuing with its vision of converting the desert fields of Thar into Lush Green Farms. In this regard, 200 more Green Farms have been established, developed, and being handed over to the poor people of Thar during the last quarter. As well all are well aware of the fact that developed farms, besides providing clean drinking water to the drought-hit population of Thar are also a source of fresh vegetables, wheat & fodder for their cattle. The green farms and their produce also serve as a source of income for the poor people of Tharparkar in Sindh, Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention that CHCS has been gradually pursuing its vision of converting more desert fields into green farms, however, with limited funds, it is unable to pursue its vision at a steady pace. It is, therefore, requested that Donors from all over the globe may donate generously so that CHCS may continue improving the socioeconomic conditions of the people of Thar by establishing and developing more green farms, thus, enabling people of Thar to grow seasonal crops for their families and animals.
The more green farms will be established in the drought-hit areas of Thar in order to meet nutritional needs and provide safe drinking water.
