1. Executive Summary
The From Street to School Children Transformative Project continued to make positive progress during this quarter by supporting vulnerable children, especially street-connected children, to access education, protection, and basic welfare services. The project focused on identifying out-of-school children, enrolling them into schools, providing learning materials, and engaging families and communities on the importance of education.
During the reporting period, several children were successfully reintegrated into formal schooling, while others benefited from counseling, mentorship, and life skills training. Community awareness activities also helped reduce child neglect and encouraged parental responsibility.
2. Key Activities Implemented
a. Identification and Registration of Beneficiaries
Conducted outreach visits in communities and streets to identify vulnerable children.
Registered new beneficiaries for support services.
Assessed family backgrounds and educational needs.
b. School Enrollment Support
Assisted children with school registration and placement.
Distributed school bags, uniforms, books, and stationery materials.
Paid support fees for selected needy children.
c. Counseling and Mentorship
Organized counseling sessions for children facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
Conducted mentorship meetings to encourage discipline and academic focus.
