The next Fruit Tree 101 projects are coming up! April 10-21st we will be traveling across Arizona, working hand-in-hand with local schools and the community to plant over 150 trees trees at eleven schools: four in Prescott, three in Flagstaff, one in Nogales, and three with the White Mountain Apache Tribe.
This will be our second visit to the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation, and we are excited and blessed to be welcomed by the tribal leaders and community to be a part of their modern-day goals of self-reliance and food soverignty. Our plantings in Prescott, Flagstaff, and Nogales are all first-time orchards for the schools, and we have had such great excitement and communications with these schools leading up to the events! If you would like to join us at any of the planting events, feel free to email our Project Coordinator at lizzy@ftpf.org, and be sure to follow along on Facebook and Instagram for updates from the field.
Thank you for all of your support of the Fruit Tree 101 project, we couldn't do it without you!
To a bountiful future for all students,
The FTPF Team
