re-stocking upgraded goats
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing goats to poor farming families. We have proven time and again that this initiative is really effective in helping poor farmers because goats are easy to raise they do not require food that we need to purchase as they are ruminants and eat grasses and their market demand is high. During this reporting period we are able to re-stock our multiplier farm as one of the problems in goat farming is the availability of upgraded stocks. We have a preponderance of native blood lines and the need to upgrade them is important. We were able to acquire some upgraded stocks and we will use this in order to breed goats farmed by our beneficiaries. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Gardening is life
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generosity in supporting our initiative to provide goats to poor farming families. Goat raising is a lucrative business and this has been proven to be true during this Coronavirus pandemic. With very little food in the table, farmers resort to butchering their goats for the meat or selling them in the market. Goat meat is favored over other meat because it has less fat and is believed to be healthy. This reporting period, we provided our goat raisers with vegetable seeds in order to support their backyard home gardening to increase nutrition in the household. Aside from the vegetables we encouraged them to also plant forage for their goats. In so doing we provided multiple support and benefits to them. We are able to support 72 farmers in this manner. Hoping for your continuing generosity and support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Continue supporting farmers
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kindness and generosity insupporting our initiative providing goats to poor farming families. This project is a sure winner during this time with the Coronavirus pandemic affecting poor and marginal farmers because goats are great sources of meat, milk and income with very little inputs provided. Goats are ruminant and they thrive on grasses not unlike other animals where the farmer need to purchase expensive feeds. Goats are also prolific and breeds easily and in our experience some farmers are able to get 2 kids per pregnancy and goats give kids twice a year. This reporting period and due to the difficulty experienced by farmers as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, we supported with food 175 goat farmers as well as provided them with forage seeds that they can grow in order to improve their capabilities to increase their herd. Market of food products such as goat meat is always on an all time high especially during this time.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
