Help us grow! Women Changemakers for Education

Dear Friends of Women Changemakers for Education!!

We are thrilled to report back to you on how we used your generous donations during our successful December 2023 campaign. We asked you to help us grow the program and that is what you did!

With your support we awarded over $6,000 in small grant funds. This allowed our Fellows to grow their grass roots programs. We highlight a few below:

1. “My Miracle of Hope Foundation” provides education, empowerment, and advocacy to eradicate sexual assault caused during at home tutoring for 25 secondary school girls
2. The Boa Daakye Foundation with its mobile digital learning labs, reading clinics, scholarships and advocacy, targets school retention of over 350 girls in northern Ghana
3. “Teens in Entrepreneurship,” increases school participation by giving girls business skills to earn funds to cover school fees,
4. “Empower360: Nurturing Futures” provides career guidance, mentorship, and skills development for over 45 girls in the central region in Ghana.

You might also like to know about our leadership training, a major component of WC4E. Your donations supported over 25 hours of training…delivering a combination of inspirational messaging and practical, hands-on skills. Provided primarily via biweekly zoom sessions, we focused on the following:

1. My leadership journey
2. Brainstorming for International Women’s Day: “Inspire Inclusion”
3. Grass roots action planning
4. Best practices in regulatory compliance
5. Proposal writing
