Dear all, we are so happy to inform that this project has arrived at a great end!
Once final evaluations were finished, during the month of July 2022, we started working on the results. In September, individual reports were given to the parents, and a global final scientific article is being written during these months.
Although final conclusions can not yet be thrown, we can anticipate that 100% of the kids have had better results in most of the indicators. This means that visual therapy, adapted to the necessity of each kid, and daily implemented at the school, has a real impact in the results obtained at the curricular level. And not only for reading and writing has been a great discovery, but also in terms of sports, kids have achieved really good results at the motor level, since vision ability is crucial for moving – and not falling, for reaching a spot – and not hit walls while arriving there, etc…
In summary, this study implemented in the Cole and Celia School, has helped 16 kids ameliorate their abilities in several dimensions, which at the end of the day, has also helped them develop more capacities, opt to more options in life and have a more inclusive living!
We are proud of the kids, their efforts to never surrender and always work hard to surmount their many limitations due to their neurological diseases.
