Larnaca nucleo getting ready to perform!

Spring has sprung and we have completed two outdoor concerts!

Here's what we have been up to:

Our Larnaca nucleo performed in Zouhouri square as part of Larnaka 2030 - European Capital of Culture Candidate City.

Our Nicosia Nucleo performed in Eleftheria's square as part of a series of events organised by the Municipality of Nicosia and the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth in honour of Song Day with the theme "From Nicosia to the heart, songs in a hug".

Between October and December 2022 Sistema Cyprus and El Sistema Greece brought together 30 Young Music Mentors (who are already engaged in learning a musical instrument) together with 60 children and young people from our El Sistema-inspired programmes.

This video documents the process of the mentoring programme, capturing moments from the lessons and interviews with the Young Music Mentors and children before and after the implementation sharing their experiences through the project. Enjoy watching!
